R'HONEST | Balos Beach

I repaired my girlfriend's (inherited) sugar cup with a story. The lid of the cup was missing, and I decided to replace it with a function substitute in the shape of a memory: our first vacation together, a journey to Crete — the Greek island.

I traced the mountain's profile from Google imagery and scaled a photograph of our rental car, then combined these elements into a functional lid design where the mountain covers the opening and the car acts as a handle. So now when we serve the tea, we also put a story on the table.
